Qigong & KungFu Instructor

Over the years I had suffered many different ailments and injuries and, as with most of the population, had only ever sought treatment and relief through Western Medicine.

In early 2005 I was hospitalised with chest pains, dizziness and hot and cold flushes. After spending a week in hospital, with no results I was sent home. The next day I was re-admitted presenting with the same problems. Again after a further week I was sent home.

I followed up with my GP who organised for several different tests – all that should really have been performed by the hospital but for some reason or other weren't.

My GP was thorough but the only thing any of her tests revealed was high cholesterol. I was advised to change my diet and put on daily medication to help control the situation.

This helped some of my symptoms but only slightly. I spent the next year being sick seemingly all the time for no apparent reason.

This not only affected my health but other aspects of my personal life as well.

It was towards the end of 2006, after yet another trip to the hospital, that I decided that enough was enough - I needed to look at alternative forms of treatments.

I decided upon Acupuncture, located a clinic and made a booking. As you may have guessed the clinic was Three Treasure Natural Medicine.

At my initial consultation with the Chief practitioner, Dr Jirong Zhang, I was given a treatment plan which was to resolve around my symptoms involving Chinese Herbs, Acupuncture and QiGong.

Within weeks my symptoms were close to gone and within three months of treatment I was better. These results could not have been achieved if it weren't for the caring and professional manner in which Dr Zhang and his staff approach each patients individual case. You are not just treated as another patient, but for who you are and what your needs are.

The herbs and acupuncture worked a treat but the biggest results for me came from the QiGong.

Before beginning my journey with Three Treasure, I had not even heard of QiGong, but Dr Zhang went through everything with me and assisted me every step of the way on my journey to better health.

The QiGong not only helped resolve my symptoms but also helped with the back, hip and leg pain I had been getting for the better part of twenty years as the result of several motor bike accidents.

Initially I was unable to stand, sit or walk for long periods of time, but with the practice of QiGong, under the expert guidence of Dr Zhang, these problems were also elimenated.

I can now walk, sit and stand comfortably for longer periods of time. I can jog, use weights and other general fitness activities. I can stand on my hands for three minutes - something I never even dreamed of being able to do. My fitness level has increased 100%.

Practing QiGong has not only helped my immediate health problems and fitness levels but has also helped me to become more centered.

QiGong is something that you can take with you and use for the rest of your life.
